What is Altoshi Coin?
Altoshi Coin (ALT) is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency built for the community, transparent, and verifiable. It uses the Scrypt algorithm with a fixed maximum supply of 88,000,000 ALT and a steady block cadence (target 2.5 minutes), aiming for a familiar “digital cash” rhythm while keeping decentralization mechanics easy to reason about.
Altoshi is developed with an open, practical mindset: the network rules are explicit, the data is inspectable through a public explorer, and the system is designed so anyone can validate what’s happening on-chain without trusting a middleman.
